To Ininiee and eon (Jack's new catch phrase)

Eric and I were convinced that Jack would buy the baseball helmet. He started talking about the helmet as soon as we mentioned going to Target.
So we were surprise when we explained to him that he could buy the helmet with his Christmas money and take it home that he looked at us and said - TOO BIG and promptly took the helmet off and placed it back with the other helmets.
-Why, he obviously doesn't understand, we said and so began explaining with hand motions that he could have the helmet and we put it in the cart.
Jack shook his head and muttered - too big.
Now the helmet was only $10 and he had $25 from Great Grandma and Grandpa to spend so we took him over to the toy section and tried to convince him to get a very cool Lego Fireman Helicopter.
Jack do you want the Helicopter? because we could put it in the cart and buy it. It could be yours.
No helicopter - he replied and then reached into the cart to remove the baseball helmet and said - TOO BIG.
Eric and I did not know what to do. I finally said - I think he just doesn't get the concept. I mean normally we make him put everything back and he is just being a good kid and putting it back. Eric shrugged his shoulders and we put the helmet back in the cart.
Jack was not happy - too big Too Big TOO BIG!!!!
Ok - I said to Eric - lets just put it back and we will attempt this again another day, unless you can think of something else he saw that he might want.
The only other thing he seemed interested in was a Buzz Light... Eric did not get to complete this sentence because Jack turned and looked at us with his face full of desire and said - Buzz Lightyear YES!!!
I took Jack to find Buzz. There was only one in the store and it had obviously been opened but all the buttons worked and it looked ok.
- So Jack are you sure this is what you want?
Jack grabbed Buzz, put him in the cart said Yes and then sat down in the cart so we could leave.
How silly we were to ever think one of our children would not understand the concept of shopping. (SIGH)

If you look really close you can see that Buzz's laser is lit up and shooting at you. Missing in this Pic is the missile launcher with missiles that Buzz can launch. (because gun that shoots just sounds more violent. Jack actually calls them Rockets and we believe he thinks Buzz is just launching satellites into space...)

Olivia could not stand that Jack was getting his picture taken and she wasn't so she nudged in on this one. I thought is was cute and would like to point out that Buzz could take on Sunshine Bear any day of the week. (well especially since he has a missile.. er rocket launcher.)
