The kids started back to school today so it seems like the right time to start posting to my blog again.
I was a little sad this morning to see the kids rush off to school. Mostly because it means that summer is over at our house. So while other people are off vacationing and haven't even thought about school supplies our house is once again taking on the rhythm of school days.Olivia was of course thrilled about going to school. She took a few bites of cereal and then fluttered from the table to her book bag to the mirror to her bed and back to the table again. 
Jack was a little more reserved. He cried because he could not take his big pillow to school and he cried because I wouldn't let him take tape to school but then he walked proudly out the door with his new backpack and instructed me to take his picture.

Last year's photo. If you look close you can see O is holding the same water bottle as this year. Wow and look at Jack's nice hair cut. As you can see from this year's photo we are running a little behind on that. Hopefully tomorrow after school. Only two days late then.

Yes, they are growing up and they are beautiful children. We miss them so very much. Thanks for the pics. They do tell a wonderful story on how they are changing. By the way love the dress Olivia is wearing!!
