OK some in my oh so vast readership have questioned why I have labeled Oprah as the antichrist. My initial reaction to this is – Oh my word just LOOK! But then that is my initial reaction to quite a few things so I will explain.
In very basic simple terms (very basic and simple because that is how I think) the antichrist is suppose to be someone/something that appears to be good and righteous and Christ like but in reality is just the opposite. The antichrist sucks you in by pretending to represent Christ so that you think it is good and then when it has its grip on you it shows its real self which is pretty much pure evil.
Oprah looks nice, she has nice things, she gives nice things away and she says nice things. And many people even believe she is a Christian because she was raised in the Baptist church and she says Christian type things. But she does not promote Christianity or a reliance on Christ. She preaches health and wealth and a dependence on one’s self. Believe it and you can achieve it. Get in touch with your spirit and nothing can stop you. Blah blah blah blah blah! Two things clenched the Oprah as antichrist image for me. One was a program where Oprah said “God lives in me or I am a part of God. I just don’t see the difference between these statements.” (Well if you can’t figure that out then good luck with Faulkner) The second thing was a show with several people who had mediated on their goals each day for a month and they had started to see progress toward those goals. (The goals were things like – increase my income 20%, Make an extra $10,000 this year, get a new better paying job). Each person would start the day with a little prayer – seems Christian enough – which went something like – Please God help me focus and get closer to achieving my goal today. HMMM? Not your will God, but MINE!!! This second show clinched it for me. Oprah is the antichrist. She has a huge influence over SO many people. Everyone thinks she is so nice and sweet and giving and they are drawn into her but LISTEN to what she is really saying and what she is REALLY selling. OH MY WORD JUST LOOK!
Of course I could be wrong about this. One of the biggest traits of the antichrist is that no one really suspects the antichrist of being the antichrist. Thus my suspecting her probably nullifies her as a possible suspect! Perhaps she is just a misguided person with indefinable power – which would be a great disguise for the antichrist!

Brilliant! Thank you for so cogently making my -- I mean, your-- point.
And you are, of course, right: if she can't get the difference between God in her and her as part of God, then how in tarnation will she comprehend Faulkner?
You might want to put that question to her, ever so politely.
