It was beautiful weather this weekend. That said, we began it by taking advantage of the tax free weekend and purchasing Olivia and Daddy new school clothes. Belk's had a big sale. Olivia's favorite item was frog pajamas. Somehow the top to these PJs did not make it into the bag so Mommy had to go back to the Street at Southpoint(this is the mall on the southside of Durham)on Saturday and have them track down the top. Olivia was very happy when mommy brought it home. Mommy also stopped at the Super Target on Saturday and stocked up on underwear and socks for them. Dora and Strawberry Short Cake underwear. (daddy just got plain white)!
But we did spend sometime outdoors as well. As you can see from our pictures we raked up the pine needles and pine cones from the drive way and we caught some bugs to look at in our bug catcher. We also played on the swingset, in the sandbox and we chased the dog around for a while.
The other big event of the weekend is that Jack now has a new word - uh oh! No the word is uh-oh not uh-oh he has a new word. We are always happy when Jack learns a new word and we are annoyed when he learns one and then refuses to use it again!!!! Like dog or car!
